Clinically, Fong Ling has a special interest in persistent musculoskeletal-neural pain conditions, and craniofacial-temporomandibular disorders. She has a diverse experience working with different conditions and across the age-groups; from chronic headache and dizziness, to neck and back pain, to thoracic outlet and complex regional pain syndromes.
Professionally, she trains and mentors mostly qualified physiotherapists, and the occasional student group. She was an adjunct lecturer at Nanyang Polytechnic (Physiotherapy); a Clinical Practice Facilitator with the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, teaching modules in pain management. Her main focus has been mentoring physiotherapists – at TTSH, Singapore Cancer Society and at NHG Polyclinics. These days, she conducts short courses and does the occasional workshop in Penang.
